Curriculum
The Classical School of the Medes (CSM) seeks to equip students with age-appropriate skills, knowledge, and virtues. Curriculum draws from the classical model of education, with a strong emphasis on Language and History.

Subjects
A team of educators based in America work to design and compile program curriculum. Curriculum and supplies are shipped from America to Iraq each summer. Core subjects include:

English, Kurdish & Arabic Language
Literature
Mathematics
Science
Humanities
(emphasis on Mesopotamian history)

CSM Events

Medes Mandolin Orchestra

In 2007, the CSM Mandolin Orchestra performed perhaps the first ever mandolin concert in all of Iraq. This roof-top concert was complemented by a beautiful sunset, a crisp quarter moon, and the sparkling city lights of Sulymania.

Staff Openings
